Six years ago today, the world shut down.
I experienced a pandemic six years ago, today.
Six years ago today, I was excited about the opportunity to have a full reset.
I was delighted by the opportunity to have no shame in the level of solitude that I was craving and only got to experience during snowstorms. Friday, March 13, 2020, we were sent to our "rooms," and I exhaled.
Six years ago, the world was off the streets, and I had time to reset.
I began an amazing journey of healing six years ago. I had the opportunity to be shattered early on in the pandemic, losing loved ones I could never have fathomed that they would not walk the earth while I was on it.
However, I developed a new perspective; God took the angels I needed to protect me, not too long after I learned of COVID-19.
Not only have I survived a pandemic, but I also thrived. I continue to thrive, six years later.
