My Lessons

There was a time that I thought that every man was bad.  
I lived through life remembering my pain trying to get back everything I once had.
I wish I could've turned back the time to erase my mistakes 
but the lessons I have learned I must say have taught me something far more great.

Through my pain I have learned never to move so fast.  

I know now if I take my time with things there is a good chance it might last.
Instead of always trying to fall in love before I know a man. 

I realize that I should get to know him as a friend as best as I can.
