Back 2 the Office Blues

We have this new employee that says she doesn't know how to complete a process so they would like me to do it.  Although, the process is not managed by my department; "they" would like for me to do it.  Some people may think that "they" means white people and it doesn't.  "They" is being used to identify there is more than one person in agreement that I should be completing this process.

Tell me why the new employee forwards me a request and then outline how "I" can complete the process.

Let that sit with you for a second and just to be sure you are letting it sink in, here it is again and read it slowly.  "Tell me why the new employee forwards me a request and then outlines how "I" can complete the process."

Tell me life isn't scripted and God sitting up there like Tyler Perry just writing the best plot twists because HOW THEE FUCK ARE "THEY" GOING TO PASS ME A PROCESS NOT EVEN UNDER MY DEPARTMENT BECAUSE THE NEW EMPLOYEE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO IT AND NOW THIS BITCH - hard emphasis on this - IS FORWARDING ME A REQUEST, TELLING ME THE STEPS TO PROCESS IT?  How?

And just for substance, "they", are white.

I can't make this shit up.  None of us can make this shit up.  I don't know a lot but I know it's crazy that so many humans, despite color, are having the same experience.  Just so happens that I'm black and those humans experiencing this are too.

That's called sarcasm since we are just getting acquainted.

Anyway, this situation could not have been avoided virtually so I can't blame it on being back in the office.  However, what could have been avoided virtually is that I wouldn't have had to see this fool in living color and I could have talked myself out of sending an email but since we all gotta be here, why not ask.

I need to know why she didn't complete the process since she is competent enough to outline it for me.  My question is:

The one individual that has been doing this work because everyone said you didn't know how to do it, why are you explaining to her how to do it?  Can you make that make sense?

Virtually, I would have just fussed & cussed, completed the request, and went about my day but in the office?
Nah.  I have questions and it appears I have live access to those who have answers.

Who would I be if I didn't seek knowledge?
Surely not the one "they" entrusted with the process with no previous instruction or knowledge.
