I cut the news on this morning, and the first headline I saw was, "Countdown to Christmas!"
Apparently, this event is in 100 days, from today. The retailers are preparing, and not one mention of Thanksgiving...
The thoughts exhaust me, and I am muhfuhkintied of it all. The countdowns, the excessive speed of time, the holidays that are supposed to be Holy days, and all the lies that surround everything.
I am exhausted.
Yet, I believe I am thriving through it all.
Some days I am thriving better than others; nonetheless, here I stand with glistening brown skin and a workout routine that is molding me into everything I have always longed to be. DISCIPLINED!
I long to be disciplined in ALL things, but I am proud that I am naturally disciplined in not falling for the hype of bullshit. So, while the news highlights the countdown to X-mas, I am counting down the days to prepare for a new harvest. Now is the time to store up for the Winter season and prepare for the next season, where things will bloom and grow once again.
If Christmas is in 100 days, then the New Year will be upon us in 106 days. Don't lose sight of that. Stay focused, my friends.
But most importantly, stay disciplined.
