Some who have never asked me, "How are you?" Felt comfortable asking me, "Can you?" And I've never been more confused.
I believe it's an honor to be considered to help. However, when & how one is considered are the special ingredients for consideration. Unless the consideration is reciprocal, it comes off as a con - and no one likes to be conned.
