What am I thankful for?
For the last few years, I feel like Thanksgiving has only been about the food and has excluded the "thanks" as well as the "giving". Then Christmas comes and it's all about receiving... I want to celebrate holidays differently, but I've learned that I can decide that for myself but I cannot decide that for my loved ones.
Speaking of the ones I love, for them I am thankful.
I am thankful for waking up this morning with the ability to express thanks. I am thankful for how the Creator made me because even the parts I want to change serve a purpose for the journey designed just for me. I am thankful for my mind and how it processes things. I am thankful for the ability to learn. I am thankful that I can adapt. I am thankful for the ability to see, to comprehend. I am thankful that I can change.
I am thankful for my freedom. I am most thankful for freedom.
